Affordable Trucks and Equipment is a family owned business located in Pearisburg, Virginia, operating since 2005. Our inventory is built around dump trucks, work trucks, and earthmoving equipment, the machines that keep construction crews, haulers, and contractors moving every day. We also carry tires for commercial trucks and heavy equipment.
Our office sits in Giles County, Virginia on Route 460 near the Celanese Plant, 30 miles off Interstate 81 at Exit 118B in Virginia and 22 miles off Interstate 77 at Exit 9 in West Virginia. We welcome visitors to stop by, walk the lot, and see the equipment in person before making a decision.

If you have found the right dump truck, work truck, or piece of earthmoving equipment but need help arranging payment, financing options are available. Call or email our office and we will walk you through what is needed and connect you with financing partners who work with equipment buyers.
We encourage every buyer to come inspect, start, operate, or test drive any truck or piece of equipment before purchasing. Every listing photo is original and unedited, but photos can only show so much, and equipment may present differently in person than it does on screen. If you cannot visit us, we are happy to provide video of any unit upon request.
All equipment is sold as is and where is, with no warranty expressed, written, or implied. All sales are final and we do not offer returns of any kind. It is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly inspect each unit and judge its condition and value before purchasing, so please inspect carefully and ask questions before you buy.
Deposits are sometimes accepted to hold a truck or piece of equipment while a buyer arranges payment. The specific terms of a deposit are agreed upon directly between the buyer and seller on an item by item basis, and every deposit is non refundable.
Full payment is due as soon as a purchase is agreed upon between buyer and seller. We will work with you as you arrange your funds, but if a deposit has not been given, the item remains available to the first buyer who completes payment. We accept bank transfer as our preferred payment method, along with cash and certified bank check. Please note that we do not accept PayPal for deposits.
We do not charge tax on motor vehicles at the time of sale, but it remains the buyer's responsibility to pay any applicable state or local taxes. Virginia residents and businesses pay a 5.3 percent Virginia sales tax on all sales except motor vehicles, unless the buyer is tax exempt for resale or the item is purchased for farm use only, in which case the proper exemption forms are required for our records. Out of state buyers who send payment directly to us and have their item shipped by common carrier are not charged sales tax, though buyer arranged shipping requires a bill of lading, and in person pickup requires payment of the 5.3 percent Virginia sales tax unless you are a tax exempt entity.
The price you see listed is the price you pay. We do not add processing fees, transaction fees, or hidden charges on top of an advertised price, and any tax due is calculated separately and clearly at the time of sale.
