About Us

Affordable Trucks and Equipment, Inc sells all types of trucks and equipment. We are located on a nine acre facility at 127 Clendennin Road, Narrows, Virgina. This is conveniently located on US Route 460. We are only 30 miles off of Interstate 81 (Exit 118B) in Virginia, and just 22 miles off of Interstate 77 (Exit 9) in West Virginia. We have been at this location since 2005.  If you can't visit us in person, we can arrange shipping on anything to anywhere in the world at very reasonable rates.

All items are sold AS-IS-WHERE-IS with no warranty expressed or implied! We encouraged you to inspect, operate, test, or drive anything we have for sale before buying it. All of our pictures are original and un-edited, but pictures can only show so much. Upon request, we can provide video or additional pics of any item as needed.

Deposits

Full Payment

Full payment is due as soon as an agreed purchase is made between buyer and seller. We will try to work with you as you get your funds in place but if a deposit is not agreed to and given, the item will stay for sale to the first person to make a payment, please do not hesitate to call us to discuss payment options and terms. Payment types accepted:

Fees & Taxes:

We do not charge you tax on motor vehicles purchased; however, it is your responsibility to pay any applicable taxes as required by your state or locality. If you are a Virginia resident or business, you are required to pay a 5.3% Virginia Sales Tax on all sales except motor vehicles unless you are tax exempt for reselling, or if the item is for 'Farm Use Only.' If you are tax exempt, please provide us the proper forms as needed to prove your exemption and for our records.

If you are outside of Virginia and send payment directly to us from outside of Virginia, and if we ship the item(s) to you or you use a common carrier, we will not charge sales tax. If you arrange your shipping, we will require a bill of lading. If you pick up your item in person, you will be required to pay the 5.3% Virginia sales tax as required by law unless you are a tax-exempt entity.

Default Warranty:

All items are sold "as-is" and "where-is", with no warranty, expressed, written or implied. All sales are final and we do not offer returns of any kind.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value, then bid or buy based upon that judgment solely. We will make reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage.
